Mini Soccer Rules apply

 

• Games will be 7-a-side with a maximum squad of 10 players

 

• The team which is ready to play first will gain the kick off for the first half.

 

• There is no offside.

 

• Throw ins or corners shall take place if the ball passes over side or back line.

 

• If a foul is committed outside the area the opposing team will be awarded a direct free kick.

 

• If a foul is committed inside the area the opposing team will be awarded a penalty.

 

Guidance for Goalkeepers

 

Goalkeepers are not allowed to pick up the ball outside the goalkeeping area (semi circle). If the goalkeeper does pick the ball up out of the area, a free kick shall be awarded to the opposing team.

 

Goalkeepers distribute the ball by throwing only. No kicking direct out of hand or half volley drop kicks. However, keepers may distribute onto the floor, and kick ball from the floor.

 

Free Kicks

All free kicks are direct – opponents must be 4.5m from the ball.

 

Substitutions

Substitutions can be made at anytime with the referee’s permission.

The roll on/off substitution rule will apply.

 

Any of the other players may change places with the goalkeeper, provided that the referee is informed before the change is made and provided also that the change is made during a stoppage in the game.

 

All players must wear shinpads.  No metal studs are permitted.
